What Manifold for SketchUp does:

Looks at the contents of a selected group and tries to fix it so it is 'manifold' for 3D-printing etc.
The group needs to be a 3D shape which is fully surfaced without internal divisions or intraneous/extraneous geometry/entities...

* STL4SU Here is an excellent STL Import/Export plugin for SketchUp written by Revar Desmera. You can find the import function in the File>Import Menu of SketchUp and the Export function can be found in the Tools>Export STL Menu.
