Sweet. I flew this one earlier this summer and it was really agile. Looked great doing stunts especially that last one where I drove it right into the ground  Yes it is another Gene Bond special. The guy makes nice simple planes that are really fun to build and fly. This is a 2 part file. Not quite enough room for everything on one sheet of foam. files included are of course, skp,cnc and a jpeg shot of the layed out...

This was posted earlier in another thread but I now have video of the maiden flight of the 2nd generation version.

This is a 3mm full fuse plane powered by components from a used Parkzone Sukhoi.

The plane shown in the video has the original Sukhoi prop, but it flys much slower with a GWS 5x3 prop modified to fit the small prop shaft of the Sukhoi motor.

I also learned from building the first ultimate that it is better to install the center fuse support first and then wrap the rear...
This is my first design from scratch and i thought i should share it and maybe get some ideas for improvement and such
My idea is to make this as a waterplane of sorts. Therefore the floaters in front and back
Here is my Reactor Bipe clone 26" wing span for 1/8th" thick foam 20"x30" (I use ReadIBoard). Make sure you home the printer with the bit just fully under the right side of the foam and dang near touching the foam. I have yet to test fly this but I am sure it will kick but! Found a good 3 sided shot of this plane and figured it would be fun building it. The wing locks in for alignment. Nice little Biplane.

I bought some 3mm Depron for a project and had some left over so I found a micro biplane on RCGroups and converted the PDF to a Sketchup file and cut out one of these amazing little planes.
I don't have anything to power it (yet), but it was fun to build and look at.
I used a 1/32" bit for this since the foam is so thin.

I've been practicing my skills in SU and I just LOVE biplanes! I found the PDF for the Iluminado Bipe over at RCG, so I decided to work it up.

The original plane was designed for a 28" wingspan, but I wanted something a little larger, so I scaled it up to a 32" wingspan. All of the notches have been adjusted to allow for 6mm foam (which is what I have taken to using for FFF, as well).

If you are wondering what my process is... Open the PDF in Adobe Illustrator CS, bomb away any unwanted...
