Hey Boyz!
Just wanted to post some pics of the Phlatcowl design we worked up for the Phlatformer show
This design was an idea we had for another use of the Phlatformer besides the standard uses of canopies, wheel pants
This makes for a lightweight strong structure for the from of your profile foamie aircraft and if taped on will allow you to easily remove to place it on another plane.
One of the cool features is that you can embed your firewall right inside the plastic as it is...
Of course that led to me wanting a small paint booth. I started designing one today and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions I haven't included.
The design includes exhaust fans and a filter/charcoal box for soaking up some of the fumes. I am putting together a simple rectifier power supply to run the fans and some white...
He has it hooked up to his gear switch.
He was trying to find a way to to mount the air cylinder for the gun. I just happen to be there helping him do some work on it when I had a light bulb pop above my head.
I can make something on my Phlatprinter.
Well here is what I have come up...
I put a scrap piece of thin ply under the pen area so I could put an exacto knife in there also.
The picture of my completed one shows the writing on the foam, but I changed the files so the writing doesn't show. When I put it together I started from the back and worked my way forward.

My Brother Bob bought me a Anemometer and a portible Wind Sock for Christmas.

I was trying out the Anemometer this morning and I could not find a
place for it while I was Flying so I taped it to my car antenna. The only prob.
It didn't turn when the wind shifted.

So I made a vane to put it in. The only thing I havent fiquerd out yes is
how to get it to turn. I'm thinking of a old micro GWS gear drive minus the gear.
Well Here Is What I have so far.
