It takes a bit of getting used to after using the rather unintuitive autocad for so long. <br />

It still needs a bunch of work but I managed to get something that looks relatively complete so I figured I would post a screenshot.<br />

It is just Popsicle sticks hot glued to the ends of the booms. It is insanely simple and sturdy.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I had a KK blackboard collecting dust after installing a KK 2.0 board on my tricopter so I decided to make a cheap simple quad. <br />
<br />
I used the following power system. <br />
<br />
Turnigy 2204 motors<br />
SimonK&#039;d plush 6A esc&#039;s<br />
1000 mah 2S battery<br />
8x4.3 props<br />
<br />
The frame is made out of fan fold foam that I milled on my phlatprinter. It isn&#039;t strong but it is very light and easy to repair. <br />
<br />
Ready to fly weight is 266 grams.<br />

This is the first attempt. I made this QikQUAD in an attempt to try and develop a light-weight easy to build quad for the Phlatprinter.<br />
There are two versions of this quad one is 1/8th ply the other is 1/16 garolite XX The canopy file fits both. The canopy is Phlatprinted from 2&quot; thick foam. Then plaster of Paris used to make the forum used on the Phlatformer (vacuum former)...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Here&#039;s one I have been working on it uses good ole slow stick fuses(3/8 sq aluminum) and 1/16&quot; g-10. I used the basic shape of one I found online and changed an few things on it to suit me, still have to decide on landing gear and motor mounts. Gotta order some G-10 so I can get it built .<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[After something like a BAZILLION requests, I am pleased to announce that I have everything together now for the QSC QuadCopter!<br />

I have stayed true to my &quot;QSC model&quot; with yet another Quick-building, Simple Design that is easy on the wallet (Cheap!). This model set me back a whopping $9, and after the parts were cut out (only 7 Lite Ply pieces) , it only took about 15 minutes to assemble. I am using 1/8&quot; Lite Ply on this build and I have opted to use one 1/2&quot; x 36&quot; square dowel for the booms....<br />
