Been working on this one for a bit now and reworked a few parts in sketchup, specifically the lower wings, in which I thought the original problem was in why it crashed...
However, after some taxi tests today I think the original problem might have been an aileron control wire coming undone! This would help explain the loss of control, but I'm not entirely sold.
Anyway you guys asked to see it in...
After my success with enlarging dz1sfb's FW-190, I've given the Zero the same 125% enlargement up to 36".
Based on the flight performance of the FW-190 I'm opting for the same 150W of power from an 8" to 10" prop. My chosen setup is going to be:

Admiring the awesome EPP SloP-51 by Robert Viskil, I wanted to have one, but decided since everybody and his mother already has a P51 I thought there needed to be another icon of the Allied forces of WWII.
So what better choice than the famous P-40 with it's aggressive "I'll have you for breakfast anytime!" sharkmouth livery.

The build is quite standard, if you look at Robert's topics about the SloP-51 and the SuperSlo28 (either on this forum and/or over at the RCGroups)...
Sorry Crash, the Extra had to wait...
I got carried away, and next thing I knew I found a 40 some odd inch WS Fokker DVII sitting on my dining room table!

After I destroyed my N-17 on the first take off, I went back to what I had done on my first biplane, an SE5A...

...In which after destroying it, I decided to attach all the struts and wing supports via magnets, now this was a learning process as the magnets were very strong, but the wing slid off...
This was the design I was beta testing the 9.19 PS on.
For the flaws found in 9.19, we sure worked through quite a few, and it still worked well enough to produce this!

For scale Mark asked for a pic of me holding it it, so here we go!
Spinner is home made, used slicer plugin to cut the foam parts and vac formed a styrene shell. Easy to do, and a perfect (for me) result! Attached files...

There's some video in there as well.

Things to note:
The skp file is a bit messy, no g-code as the stuff I used was for 1/16" bit, will work fine for 1/8, feel free to upload.

The original incidence angle was a bit too steep, and while the plane files fine (see youtube video) it is not actual scale and more...
I've actually got one already modeled, I will upload it tonight (or tomorrow afternoon rather) so you can compare the models, maybe we can share the parts, I've been dragging my feet on building this one for some time now. My other planes are lasting too long, and I've had too many other tempting projects!

BTW, I think this looks GREAT so far, I did not model the wing flaring like you've done here. But it looks like it will all unfold...

Started work on a P38 today, only had about 15 min to get started, but I managed to find a good 3 view and get it scaled into Sketchup. Looks like at about a 45" wingspan it will call for two 10" props to keep it scale. -Now from past builds I know that will be complete overkill. I will not need 10" props even for unlimited vertical...

Lucky for me I've got some 3 blade GWS props in the 9x5s in normal and reverse, so that should be perfect.

I am hoping to run two Suppo 2217-08s spec...
