I have two question. One of which is preventing me from moving forward with the software. (MAC OS X / Sketchup Pro 2013 Full Version)

    1. When I (Windows>Tools>Phlatboyz>Parameters) the initial window comes up blank, a white pop up box, see below. To view the contents of the window I have to maximize it and then everything populates.
    2. This has me at a halt. I can use the Safe Area tool and create a "safe area" box. Once I go to (Windows>Tools>Phlatboyz>Parameters), make my changes and click OK the box vanishes. I can't set another, I can't go back to (Windows>Tools>Phlatboyz>Parameters) and "Restore Defaults", ......... basically, anything that I can change, I've tried. The safe area is gone. The only way to restore it is to open a new project but if you make any parameter changes, it vanishes again.

Thanks in advance if you have any offerings.

    1.

what version of SketchuCam have you installed? last Friday we released 1.1D which includes fixes for the parameter dialog on Mac. If you havn't installed that, please do so. (from Resources or Sketchucam Download thread). Don't forget to restart Sktchup after the install. You do not need to remove anything prior to the install.

if after installing 1.1D and restarting sketchup you still cannot see the parameter dialog then you need to read the help (question mark icon in toolbar) about setting the option for compatibility dialog for Mac. if you don't have a Sketchucam toolbar, you need to read the install instructions thread and enable it.

    2. this is a weird one but I think it is related to the parameters tool problem. so fix that first please.

1.1D installed. I still get the blank parameter screen but the box remains in place once you change a parameter. New problem, none of the Safe Area numbers correlate to the parameter settings. An object inside that safe are are shown to have the correct limits but not the safe area labels. I'm not sure if those number should reflect the parameters set. And the numbers on the bottom left (not seen in screen cap) are completely different from the top right and they do not relate to anything in the parameters. [IMG] [IMG]

the co-ordinates of the two points are given, the difference between them will be the size of the safe area that you set. if you put the safe area bottom left corner on the 0,0,0 point, the top right numbers will be the size you gave.

Krzysztof maybe you can have a look at this Mac issue?

ThePhotographyGuy, in the attached pic you have the part and the safe area the same size. I you do that when you make the outside cutlines they will be in some places outside the safe area and the code will not be generated properly. You always want to have the safe area a bit bigger than the drawing with the cutlines.

In that picture I was just created something to show dimensions, not an actual part. Thanks for the good eye though!

Yes David, I will have a look at this issue.
It seems like the safe length and the width are working fine and the only issue here is the blank settings screen, am I right?

I don't think this fix has been released in 1.1d version. It will go out with next release.

I also have the same issue with the blank parameters window on Mac with Sketchup2014. But if you hide sketchup and then show it again, the parameters window is drawn correctly.

Great! SketchUcam V1.1e-beta2 seems to work fine on MacOS 10.9.2
The parameters window is drawn correctly and it seems to save/load parameters now.

Thanks for the prompt assistance :)
