    Hello,
    How do I engrave text?
I run SketchUp with Phlatscript plugin. Works fine milling out models and shapes, but text?
    regards
    Johan

    Use the centerline tool.

I use StickFont v1.1 with the CamBam font set.........(all can be downloaded for free)
StickFont will generate .DXF or G-Code files

You can import the .DXF file into Sketchup and then use the centerline tool as 3DMON mentioned

yes, but first you need to 'explode' the text into a bunch of lines.
set the material thickness to the depth of cut you want, then use 100% depth for the centerline cuts.
