Would like an option that would invert the Z direction. When checked this would just swap all Z directions + = - amd - =+

CNC machines have standard directions for all axes, why would you want to mess with that? allowing reversed output is so dangerous it just isn't going to happen.

btw are you sure that what you need is not already catered for by the 'use table top as Z-zero' option?
the standard mode for SketchUcam is to use the material top as Z-zero, but you can use table top as z zero if you want to.
-Z direction is still 'into the work' and will always be, that is the standard.

I'm new to this and curious. What is different about your CNC that would require the Z-axis to be reversed?

    I have an
I have an overhead gantry that homes to the top. +Z movements are down into the table, - Z are up. I am using RepRap Teacup firmware and have not been able to switch the directions and get it to home to the max position so I have been taking the SketchUCam gcode and simply doing a search and replace to swap all of the Z values and all works fine. Guess I will just keep doing this until I can figure out how to swap the z movements.

your Z is reversed, *no* standard G-code generator will work with it like that.
I recommend you reverse it. and move the home switch to the other end , or ignore the home switch entirely ,unless something here

helps you set it up correctly (you can also ask for help on the Teacup forums, they are the experts :)

CNC machines use a standard axis direction that specifies which direction THE TOOL moves.
    so, facing the machine,
X+ tool moves to the right
Y+ tool moves away from you
    Z+ tool moves UP

to mess with the standard invites disaster, imagine a 50HP spindle on an industrial machine moving the wrong direction because of a software setting that reverses Z (or anything else).

You should be able to flip the Z directions by rewiring one coil of the Z stepper (if memory serves me right). Then you will be "standard".
