Just a brief overview (Intro) video tutorial of phlatscript (v0.922). Basically for someone that has never used it before. (note: these are in HD quality, so if you can't see the details, you can get a much bigger screen viewing these directly on youtube. You can even go to full screen) Here is a video about using the fold and centerline tool (quick intro). It wasn't originally meant to be a tutorial. But I did a video for someone with a question. And I pulled this clip from it, because I thought it would make a good intro video.
Kwok, you did a very nice job covering the features of the PhlatScript! You are very well spoken and a great teacher!
Thanks guys. My humble attempt, to imitate the master. Took me a few takes, to get something presentable.
Thank you Kwok. This intro video of the Phlatscript has been something that Trish and I have been trying to get to for some time now. The video turned out great! The points are covered and all that is left for a person learning the Phlatscript for the first time is to explore it. You have helped us out tremendously by doing this, thank you so much. Mark and Trish p.s. With your permission I would like to add this video to a few key places.
Hey Mark & Trish, your welcome. Sure, you can add the video where ever you wish. Don't know if you guys know, but rcgroups has a new cad/cam forum. That's actually what gave me the inspiration to do the video. I posted it there, too: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1173915 -Kwok
Hi guys, I just posted another video on the 1st post about using the fold/centerline tool. Check it out. Just wanted to let you know it was there, even thought none of you need it. But if someone new has a question about using that tool, then you can point them to the video. -Kwok
Some newer videos to ride along with the release of SketchUcam 1.3 How to install or upgrade What is new in 1.3 Intro to drawing for SketchUcam Basic pocketing Use 2.5D cuts to make 3D things Cutting text Circles Intro to RAMPING
Another video, this one goes through the various layers in a drawing for a seat adjuster knob, then shows the actual cut on the CNC router. Sound is terrible, no idea what I did wrong (-:
Hi, I am a beginner in CNC and I 'm learning a lot of videos that you have posted, so: First: Thank you very much for your efforts, you are wonderfoul people. Second: A request very cheap, please, add subtitles to your videos, so I can translate more easily your explanations. Really, it is very difficult for a non-English speaker to understand many expressions. Thank you very much in advance.
Hi Thank you for having a look. I did not know I could do sub titles in Youtube. I will have a look and see how to do it.
Install SketchUcam the same way you install any other plugin for Sketchup. https://help.sketchup.com/en/article/38583 Maybe this guy can help you?
