Select multiple objects and bulk apply toolpath

    It would be awesome to select a number of points or faces and apply the same pocketing or plunge toolpath to them all. Maybe there's already a way to do this and I just don't know it?
    I was making a wasteboard holes toolpath and it was a chore to select each of 150 holes that need plunged, center the tool, click, and then move to the next one. Also since it is such a large area I couldn't do it all in the same screen - I had to zoom in so that only about 20 holes at a time were visible so I could get close enough to select the center of each. Would be awesome to just select all the objects and then have a dialog box pop up when I click the plunge tool where I set the attributes and apply to all objects selected.
    Also, say I had chosen the wrong feedrate or material depth. Back to the drawing board to set it all over again. Selecting a group of set toolpaths and changing their attributes all at once would be awesome too. Maybe I'm just too used to makercam :)

    an interesting proposition...

    btw changing feedrate or material thickness is a breeze, just change it in the parameters dialog and generate the Gcode.
    since all holes etc are set in percentage of material thickness, you only change the thickness in one place and it applies to everything.
    same with feedrate, it is not set as a property of the cut itself, but is used during Gcode generation for all cuts.

    select many things and edit 'attributes'....... that is tricky

    Thanks for the reply! So does that mean that I can't set a plunge at full depth next to a pocket at 1/2 depth in the same g-code file?

    So I think it's obvious I have a lot to learn about sketchucam. What's the best place to start? Are there any good video tutorials? I'm more of a visual learner.

    An idea related to that of skillhoarder. How about making the toolpath be part of a component?
    I have a bunch of identical rectangles I want to slot to a given depth. I made them components so I could easily position them. I would like to edit one of them, add the toolpath, close that component, and have the toolpath automatically appear in all identical components. As far as I can tell, I have to edit each one individually right now.

    At this time SketchUcam is not component aware. As far as I know it will not process components when creating G-code.
    I find that deleting and adding cut lines to drawings is so quick and easy that I have never thought of needing a component based editing ability.
