Good day! I used sketchucam to cut a part yesterday and curiously half of the peck drilling holes were left out of the g-code. Please see the attached image. Any ideas? I was thinking of making the cuts as two separate operations. First step peck drill the holes--Second step profile cut. I haven't tried radbones or dogbones yet either.

    Thanks for any input

Okay. I will upload that tonight. I guess I should have mentioned that my sketchucam is the most recent edition.

Good idea to do the holes separate from the milling. Drills are much better at drilling than endmills are.

Since the holes are all groups, they are easy enough to select then generate Gcode. Gcode is only generatcd for the selected items.

Now, triple click the biggest rectangle in the rest of the drawing, this will select everything connected to the rectangle, but NOT the grouped holes. Now you can generate Gcode for that stuff.

The above method is just one way (-:
It also allows you to set the parameters to suite the drill, generate gcode, then set the parameters to suite the endmill and generate gcode for that.

DO NOT turn on ramping when doing the drilling.
DO NOT create large holes when doing drilling with a drill bit, the gcode will try to spiral bore and a drill will not like that.
(large holes are ones bigger than the bit size).

DO read the help on plunge holes.
