    Hey everyone!!

    I'm sure by now everyone here has seen Guru Aviation's Lucky Yak( http://www.phlatforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=1252 ) Well we at it again!! The Lucky Yak Pro has come to life!! Its very close to the original but with some changes for more hardcore 3D. Can't wait to show it to you all. Pics and video coming this afternoon!!

    Thanks Mark. This was the first flight, it didnt take but a few seconds to trim :D I did have some awesome flights on it as the nite progressed. But the video camera batts died :( I'll take some still shots to show as well.

    Lucky, nice looking model....i want to see photos of the pocketing, lols... that would be a beautiful thing to fly outside on a quiet Michigan summer evening as the sun is setting...great job. peace, randy.

    LOL, Randy...no pocketing on this one, just 3mm Depron! Chris did a good job of putting the first prototype thru it's paces! I just hate I wasn't there to see it....

    I am looking forward to building my own Pro version...as much as I enjoy my Lucky Yak Standard, the pro looks to be even more fun!!!


    The Lucky Yak Standard is still a great kit, very durable, and an easy build. The Pro uses carbon fiber bracing, where the standard uses the "Lucky Brake" spar assembly.

    Interesting to me is that my Lucky Yak Standard is 5.25 ounces RTF, and Chris's first build on the Pro is the same weight...makes me think I can get the Pro down to 4.75 ounces without to much trouble...but I wonder if that will be to light weight....you can have an indoor plane that is to light...

    Mark...shouldn't be long till the Pro is available for sell on the site. The Lucky Yak standard already is, as is the Guru 364.5 jet...
