    thank you gasmasher :)
so i was attempting to download the phlatscript the otherday and i watched the toutorial
but i didnt quite get it to work
i opened the google sketchup location and looked into the plugins and there was nothing there
when i thought i was finished i didnt see a tab for plugins so i knew i did something wrong
i then tried it again and still saw no tab for plugins
i was wondering if there was something i had to download to get any plugins

You just need to unzip the Phlatscript files into the root of your sketchup folder. Generally, it's "C:program FilesGoogleGoogle SketchUp 7" . Basically, the two important things it copies over is two folders "Resources" and "Tools". If you are get a message, that those folders already exist (and they do) and do you want to replace them?, say "yes" replace all.

Then start up sketchup. I don't think you need to activate the phlatscript extension anymore. [but you can go and check if it's there and activated(checked), in sketchup go to Window/preferences/Extensions] So you really just need to make the phlatscript tool bar visible. Goto Views/Toolbars and put a check by "Phlatboyz" (near the bottom). And the toolbar should appear. That should be it. :)

Follow Kwok's instructions and you should be fine. Some installations it activates properly and sometimes not, I haven't figured out exactly what is happening. At any rate, the two steps he mentioned should take care of it if the toolbar doesn't show up in the View|Toolbars menu in SU.
