    If you use the layflat P/P DoW FFF then go to Dollar Tree and grab you a bottle of "LA'S TOTALLY AWESOME CARPET SPOT & STAIN REMOVER".

    Spritz it on the printing and it simply wipes off, I recommend cleaning the printing off before you cut your parts as it can run down to the edge of your cut part making your edges black.

    I don't have any idea if it works on protection board or not as I only use the layflat P/P personally, P/P stands for plastic on both sides of the foam

    Cool.. I know way back there was a thread here on how to get rid of the printing, but nothing seemed to totally remove it. Looks like you found the magic bullet. :)

    Where do you get your P/P? No one around here carries it, or the single sided stuff. I have a stack of pink, and it's OK, but I prefer the blue. I never tried the Green Guard, nor do I have a desire to from what I saw/felt in the store.

    Great tip Jeff. We'll have to check this out. We just tried alcohol and it worked ok but did a lot of smearing and took many coats and clean cloths.

    Hi Jeff;

    No not yet. Been REALLY busy this week. Problem is it is about 45 minutes away - one way Week days are out, so that leaves Saturday mornings... and now that it is swimming season, and I'm the kids team photographer, my Satudays are booked until April.

    I appreciate the link though. I may have a buddy check it out for me next time he goes to Da Burg.
    THANKS

    I gotta try this thank you for the tip. Also the transparent gift wrap makes a great covering for balsa planes with a little 3m77 spray.

    I got some of "LA'S TOTALLY AWESOME CARPET SPOT & STAIN REMOVER" to try on my Protection Board III FFF and it doesn't seem to do much for removing the black lettering. I sprayed it, then wiped the spray off - nothing. Then I sprayed it and let it sit for over an hour - not much better. I'm so disappointed. :(

    I remember reading elsewhere on the forums Windex or a ammonia type glass cleaner works good. I've used Glass Plus on the bluecor ink and it works well. Have plenty of fresh paper towels at hand when you spray and wipe, especially when you wipe of the Dow logo. Let the spray sit for a few seconds before wiping.
