One Day at M&T 's house .......[IMG]
Mark gave me a clear platic tube that I was going to see if I could use it as A Vacuum Extension like Norlas and Bob-n and ewo  The only thing that was Different was it was Clear. I taped it on and It worked well and I could still see the bit. :dance3: [IMG][IMG]

Then I was thinking [IMG] I have a PP/// and A PhlatformerI can make a Plug for the PhlatFormer out of MDF. So I used one of the MDF Pieces out of the Phlat Store

I made up a SU file and Cut it out.

    Then I PhlatFormed it. :banger:

I was thinking how to keep it on "magnets, tape,ECT." I looked Down and saw a rubber band.

    :spiteful: Perfect :nervous:

Here are some videos of Phlatforming it and the first test cut .

The nice thing is you can change the size because it's modular or you can cut it to fit.

    Cheers

That's a REALLY slick Idea. Have you though about putting a felt strip or something like that around the area where the plastic meets the gantry to make a seal for better vacuum? Or is it not really needed?

It is not needed. It will suck rite out of your hand if you have the vacuum on while putting the shoe on.
The rubber band is only needed so it dosent fall off just sitting there with the vaccuum off and I like the ease of changing it out.

    Glen,

As you know, I'm interested in one of the shoes. I don't expect the phlatboys to stock them up, but I could use one soon as I've got a stack of chuckies to make and this would make it easier to clean up.

Let me know if you (or M&T) can as I don't have a former nor the time to make one for myself ;-)

    Paypal? :dance3:

I'd be in for one as well. Cutting plywood is a pain. Your design sure would help a brother out! :D

Love the dust shoe, thanks E-T and Phlatboyz. This thing pulls about 90% of the dust out and I'm happy!
