Sliceforms and Sketchup

    DO you have any examples of a 3D to 2D we can print out? I'd like to see how well it works...may come in handy when making mockups of the UAV's.

    Thewz, what do you have in mind? Basically I would just take a 3D model and slice it with the slicing plugin.
    You can find the Slicer plugin for sketchup here: viewtopic.php?p=361#p361
    An example of doing this would be the tut head found here:

    Or the sliced gun example found here:
    viewtopic.php?f=211&t=2894#p29283
    Its still needs to be perfected with alignment pins like I have for the gun. But it does show that you could re stack a 3D model that has been sliced and the layers cut out.
