Well with the upgraded pool pump this year came some ripple effects. Mainly this pump, to us its features like the timer required that it be plugged in all thee time. Not a big deal accept that it was outside and my wife and I didnt like that when it was storming cause of water getting on the exposed outlet or even tripping the gfci on the pump (which has happened a couple of times). As a result I designed and 3d printed a cover with a flip lid to prevent water from getting in and maintain accessibility of the plugs. Printed on the Hbot and the end product came out nice. I used some raw filament for the hinges with a melted dowln ends so it wouldnt slip out. Worked very well. I will post the sketchup and stls as soon as i am able.
