Plumbing Kicker

    Some of you might know what this is "BUT"
    The one i found friday trying to fix a busted water main break is "SICK"

    A kicker is something theye used to do back in the old days . The idea was to pour concrete around any joint that was feared could blow apart under high pressure.......... Usually just severall inche is all thats needed ...... But look at the video ! :fugly:

    I also found the shut off valve burried under 5" of blacktop .........

    No wonder im killing myself . Actually my Job is doing it to me ! :girl_cray2:
    I gotta quit ! :nervous:

    Geez,,,looks like someone had some spare concrete mixed up...I have seen them a few times on some of our older facilities' spronkler feeds, but never to that extent. I am gonna have to show the plumbing dept. this tomorrow.
