    Cheers!

New to this forum as I got my CNC 2 Days ago. Love your phlatscript plugin, makes it pretty easy for you as a beginner.

However, Im just corious if I could skip the outside/inside Cuts and use the centerline tool instead.
The reason why Im asking this, is because I downloaded a sketch (phlatprinter sketch) called Bobcat, made by Kram42.

So when I tried to mark them with outside/inside cut there were like an red image (copy of the part) popping up. So this is what I did to get rid of it.

    1. Clicked on the part (rather said parts, as they were all combined into one), and exploded it.
Then I did it once again on the particular part.
    2. Now I could use the inside/outside cut. But here I do notice that theres something wrong.

I know that the outside cut should mark it from the outside, but instead it gets marked from the inside. And the inside cut does the opposite to, it marks from the outside.

So what am I doing wrong?

    One more question:
There are some parts that need to have a inside cut, but I cannot mark it. Why?
I can only mark the inside with centerline tool.

    Cheers once again!

    Hello freak174,
This is one of the older files and did not get marked up with SketchUcam/Phlatscript or at least I can't seem to find the marked up version. If you want to modify this one you will need to use SketchUcam to make it up. I uploaded a new flattened version that is ready to be worked up with SketchUcam so feel free to give it a go.
Hope this helps to get you started on this design.
The uploaded flattened Bobcat is here:

Here are some of the SketchUcam tutorials that should help you to work this file up:

freak174, while it's not a permanent cure to the problem but if you have a part that makes the inside cut outside, or vise versa, press the shift key and the inside cut will be inside and they outside cut will be outside.

If a part doesn't take the inside cut tool make sure it's a face. Sometimes a part is closed but not a face. Once it's a face it will take the inside cut tool.
