Here is really nice looking frog (3d puzzle). Bozikovine Attached files frog-puzzle-3mm_1.dxf (6.8 MB)Â
Little screen capture of the converted files. still have to do the tabbing to hold the parts......... What is it about some of these DXF files that make them so huge? Will try assembling the 3d model but im shure its beyond my capabilities! Attached files
I love the look of the little hands I think the file size is due to the fact that they are broken up into so many little line segments. You may be able to reduce this by using the weld tool. One thing to help is to group the whole set of parts as one that may help too. Mark
Well danged if i can figure this out ! trying to put this puzzle together in sketchup is beyond me ! well anyways here is the file if anyone wants to tackel it. Oh. I did the inside and outside cutlines but didnt do any tabbing. I will add the tabbing and try cutting this frog out tonight i think Maby thats the only way we will be abel to figure this little guy out . Attached files FROG.dxf (891.4 KB)Â Frog.skp (6.4 MB)Â
Looking at them, it seems the picture at the top of this thread has little to do with the parts in the skp or dxf. 1. The front feet have 4 toes in the photo, 5 in the skp. 2. The forearms have a horizontal slot in the photo but there is no part even shaped like the forearm in the skp. 3. There are no parts appropriately shaped, with a central slot, to fill out the "sides" of the body shape. 4. There is no symmetrically shaped piece to act as the breast bone and connect the forearms. So, you may be able to build a frog from the pieces, but it won't look exactly like the photo.
Hi ...... has anybody got a finished Frog ? I'm having problems assembling this one is it complete ? Thanks I.
Has anyone got some other pictures of the frog, I have one but it doesn't look like the one in the pictures, it is the same plan as in these pictures of the pieces!! Thanks
EWO...Can you explain how you created the top portion that includes the cuts? Im wondering how you flatten the pieces out. thanks
