I had a accident with my machine and my belt that runs the rollers is damaged . I need to know where I can get a replacement(s) ASAP Thanks Jeff
Another source is Amazon. I had bought there belts for the z axis. I had paid something like $9 for three different belts, shipping included.
I stretched out the roller drive belt (it should really be bigger I think) and had to replace it. Mark and Trish sent me one, but I also bought one direct...this was my email to Mark, he said that the link was pointing to the correct belt The X axis belt stretched between two of the teeth and is ready to break. Looking closely I see that all of the little threads are broken at that point. I have barely used the machine so I doubt that it was worn out, maybe I over tensioned it when I was trying to eliminate the belt jumping over the teeth and therefore missing steps. Can you send me a link to where I can get a replacement. is this the belt: https://sdp-si.com/eStore/PartDetail.asp?Opener=Cart&PartID=3512&GroupID=213&Qty=2
Here you go Jeff, sorry for the delay https://sdp-si.com/eStore/Catalog/PartNumber/A 6B16-155025 These are the original MK3 belts. These have Kevlar strapping so you should be good to go.
Thanks everyone for the support! Got those belts ordered. Whats the part number for the Z-Axis belt may go ahead and have a spare stored just in case Thanks in Advance Jeff
Great! Did not notice! Thanks everyone to coming to my help for pointing me in the right direction for my repair parts Jeff
Thats good to see. I've been wanting to replace mine soon as preventative maint. Seems the heat and dry air here isn't that healthy for them long term.
Hey Mark do you have the part# for the small pulley? Mine let go recently and I replaced it with the one from my MK1 but I'd like to get a metal version of it.
Hi Shaun, here you go http://www.phlatboyz.com/Timing-Pulley_p_48.html (All we carry is the metal version now)
Correct I did a double check with Trish just to be sure If you order the one from the store it will be the all metal pulley.
