Under Sketchup 2016 I see no graphic representation in the G-Code plotter, only the code is displayed in the left hand pane. The graphic window is completely blank.

this usually happens when either there was no code generated, or your Windows has the decimal separator set to a comma.
    have you watched the videos?

I have issues with comma v.s. decimal point. I I change that in Windows it changes for all applications. That's not what I want... If I cut the GCode, copy it into Notepad. Find and replace all "," and replace with "." and then paste it back into gplot ten it works fine. Would it be possible to add an option "use , as decimal separator" ?

we cannot change gplot because we do not have the source code, otherwise this would have been fixed a long time ago.

Sketchup has a 'bug' in the way it deals with internationalization. see this

I could force all gcode output to use the . but that would no doubt break some controller software that obeys the internationalization settings. catch22.

Maybe you could add a setting to SketchUCam to specify whether the output gcode should use . or ,

no. right now gplot is the only thing that does not work, if the . changed to a comma, MANY cnc controllers would stop working because they predate any programming for international formats.
