Playing around and trying to learn Sketchup, I came up with this as my first design attempt... full fuse 4-channel trainer type. Haven't cut it out yet. Maybe this weekend. Designed for 6mm depron, pieces glued together to form the fuse. Dual Aileron servos could be reduced to one.. Also made an attempt at a servo tray... I haven't checked the design carefully so there are probably errors.

I would not use all those pieces glued together, will add up the weight fast.
I like the design but would prob turn it into a mono-block type setup.
It would be hard to glue that together without little air gaps between the layers. Let me post something here in a minute to show you what I mean

You are doing very well, it's amazing to see how well people do with this program :D
See how I doodled it up?
It would be lighter this way and still have the strength of a mono-block type construction Attached files Fat Body Trainer_edit.skp (1.1 MB)Â [IMG]

Makes sense... plus it saves on foam. Thanks for the tip, I'll modify it and put one together this weekend and see if it will fly...
