I got a HobbyCNC Pro driver board kit from hobbycnc for 79 bucks. Brian took 3 hours and soldered it all together. We put it on the phlatty did some adjustments and the thing is working perfect. At this time I am not using any heatsinks. Has nice big test points and big vref pots. Nice detailed instructions with great suggestions. hobbycnc is located right out of Ohio so it only took a couple of days to get it. They were really nice thru emails also when I had questions. Will have better details on our show Mon night.

    Frank,

Thank you for posting this. I was wondering how long it would take to solder one. We considered going that route but didn't want to scare anyone away with the extra electronics work that is needed. Really glad to hear you and your Phlatprinter are up and running again.
