Ok i took some plans for yak54 and edited them to fit my needs,

Im cutting this out of 3mm grey depron, which i sandwich and put 3x3mm carbon tubes from hobbycity inside for stiffness.. and then i've made pockets to fit in the rudders, Im currently in the process of cutting it and building it, with aim to have it finished by sunday. after sunday i will post a video of it, and youll know if its a total failure or just plain awesome , tho as its just a resize i guess itll work ok.

the files are for 3mm depron cut with 1/16" bit

almost done building and it turned out way larger irl than i expected from the drawing. It got really massive wing surface, way more than my 1,5m balsa model yak. Allthough im hoping to have it flight ready in about 12.5 hours.

Also hoping the motor i picked out for it is enough so that i can hover it

 

i tried it yesteday, as its only 3mm at the control surfaces i need to put in some carbon there, also it was a bit underpowered and kinda stalled out all the time. I made a video if theres interest, but im gonna put in a new motor and stiffen the controlsurfaces and then do some hovering and stuff to show off in another vid

Video of maiden trip. The plane is a bit backheavy, really underpowered and some of the control surfaces need some carbon, look at the elevon.. I will however sometime after this sunday post a video of the plane having better motor and stiffer control surfaces.
