Has anyone done the BigNasty http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4169622&highlight=dxf#post4169622 I tried converting the pdf to a dxf file but have not been successful. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi Ray, I sent you an email about this. This is his statement about reposting his design. "Do not use them for commercial purposes or duplicate and reproduce them. Please do not ask for DXF, DWG, files etc. And please do not repost them elsewhere. They are for your use only, so go have fun." What a bummer :roll:
There are a few Pdf to Dxf programs out there most with a free trials. The one I have has x20 converts on it for the free trial . A whopping $180 to buy . http://www.aidecad.com/ I wish someone could make a plugin for SU. Now That Would Be nice. Just dont post the converted plans here and You should be ok. Cheers E-T
Hey guys, I e-mailed Water Dog the designer of BigNasty and STC as well as a few other planes last week about posting PhlatCode for the STC. He said that he would like the PhlatCode sent to him, so maybe if I do that he will consider posting it on his main threads on RC Groups. He basically said he does not want anyone to be able to mass produce any of his designs at a profit and a CNC code like the PhlatCode may allow this. I plan on sending WaterDog the PhlatCode I have for the STC and we'll see if he posts it in the STC thread, we could then go to those threads and download the code. Or maybe he will just keep the code to himself, it's really up to him since he is the designer of these planes.
