I have just set up my printer and using a easy cnc board, with the plant cnc usb, and I can't get the signal to the motors, not quite sure why (neophyte) everything seems to be connected. Is there a way to dbl check the driver board, or do you need Mach 3? Ken

    Ken,
perhaps some pictures of your boards & connections might help. I recently built my DIY kit and am using the planet cnc board (I do not have the easyCNC board) . You can also post to the chat to get some help when needed - the group of users here will help you get this sorted out.

I had some trouble at first go after connecting boards and steppers - it all went away when I powered the planet CNC board externally. This requires a regulated 5V power source and a jumper on the board. At first I was trying with just the power provided by the USB cable. This would power the board but the signal to the stepper driver board were flakey.
