    Hi all

Does anyone know how these models were made? the company name is LOVI.
They come in a flat-pack. however, its a bit different slicing method then the ones i know.

Ok, someone needs to make that pig out of some 1/2" pink foam and put a motor in it's nose. Landing might be tricky, but it'd be too cool flying around.

Those are great! I would like to know how they make the connection for the pieces as well.
It may be that they are actually two parts connected with a fold and glued at angles?
    That's my best guess :)
Nice find yotamkaufman, these are cool

    EDIT..
Ok found this, it shows that it is a slotted design :)

I would guess they make 2 or 3 different stacked parts. For example, the pig would use 1 single-layer piece that is a full body (only) with the corkscrew tail. Then there would be a 5-piece stack with just the full body shape, and lastly a 2-layer stack shaped like the full body with ears and feet. The 5-stack would have a slot in the middle running from the back, halfway to the front. The other pieces would have a slot running from the front, halfway to the back. Then you insert the single piece with the tail between the others in the 2-stack, slide the pieces together (like interlocking your two hands making the "V" sign), glue and unfold them as needed.
I hope that makes sense. ;)

    Heres the companys website
    http://www.lovi.fi/
On the first page that shows up it clearly shows how the pieces of their larger pumpkin fit together, which should be the way everything else goes.
Dorsal was right about how they go together except the folding part if I am following his description correctly.

Ah, you're right Gefahren, I am incorrect. It would be very tough to fold the birch plywood they use, so they intersect every piece, X-fashion. Very cool!

Looking through the site I found this pic. If you notice you will see not only a double thick notch for the center outer most parts but there is also a small 'key way' tab that allows the puzzle to go together only one way.
This could be a very cool way to build a foamie.
Anyone working on one of these? or thinking about it?
