Guys here is a simple quick and cheap stand that will work to hold your Phlatprinter MKII .
This stand is the same size (height wise) as the official MKII stand, so you could add casters like the official stand to bring this stand to the proper height.

We sell the casters at the Phlat-Store if you need to get them.
    http://www.phlatboyz.com/phlatstore/#ecwid:keywords=casters&mode=search&offset=0&sort=relevance

The material list is located in the Sketchup file along with build instructions.

In keeping it as simple as possible this stand is made from 5 - 8 foot 2x4's a few 'L' brackets and screws.

Feel free to modify these plans and share your version with others here.
This design is untested as of yet so the first person to build one please let us know how it works out.
    Hope this helps
    Thank You
    Mark

    Good looking stand Mark!
I might modify this one to make a better stand for my MK1.
The stand I have it on now is an old computer stand that has seen better days.
By using 2x4's like this it can be built really cheap.
    Thanks!

Nice Mark, that sure looks a lot sturdier than my old patched up tv stand.

Just ordered my MKII :D and will probably build this. Thanks for the easy design Mark. I was looking at the materials list in the pics above and was wondering where you get the 2 1/5" wood screws? ;)

My MK II is sitting on one of these stands. Minor Mods to keep it from sliding off. Works Great. I wish I had steerable casters on it though.

Nope, all I gotta do is go to lowes and get some :p But then I would have to take the phlatty off the stand, take off the old wheels, yadda yadda yadda. It works as it is.

Well, here it is. I built the MKII stand today. Spent about 2 hours building. It goes together pretty easy. One tip that I did was when cutting the parts, was to set a stop for each of the lengths so that they are all exactly the same. That made assembly really easy.

I put a piece of MDF on the top for now. My MKI will reside on it until I get the MKII built. Just need to get some casters at the hardware store tomorrow before I put my Phlatty on it.
