    Hello folks.
My printer is being shipped over the next couple days.
The Electronics are due here on thursday. I have watched all the videos and looked at the mods here and on rc groups. and there are a few things i want to do differently.

I actually watched Mark and Trish package the pieces and parts for my kit.... She held up a sign with the number 100 on it. Now how cool is that.

Anyways this will be the place i will do my build and impliment some of my own ideas.
I already have the full version of mach3 setup with the Phlatscript installed. And lots of gcode ready to go.

So when the bits get here, this place holder will show my progress !

It's great isn't it, watching the motors dancing to the tune of the G-code waltz.... :D It had me fascinated for hours. Good luck and keep going!

ROFL :D :D With all the mods I'm doing, you are guaranteed to beat me on that one! I still have parts to source for the changes. So I guess I'll pass on the race mate! But good luck anyway!! you're in for a treat when you open those up. It's like Christmas!

    Best Regards,

I have some mods in mine to. So the race is off :D

I actually watched Mark and Trish pack the parts for the Pieces box
I seen her hold this up to the camera..... Its not on the inventory list.

I wonder if i should open it or not, Might be a pipe bomb in there or something after all the grief i caused them :?

    Just Kidding :D
Thanks Mark and Trish for the little goodie.

Ewo...I just gotta ask..Are you gonna port your designs to Sketchup so we can print them? Like the Amos Moses, The Super F-16, F-15 pocket Rocket, etc?

    Just curious...

Well i kinda got ahead of myself.....I got up this morning and went to mount the dremel (one of the first steps in the build videos) I couldnt get the bolts on !
So i sat here looking at the thing and after a bit of head scratchin it came to me !

I drilled 3 small holes in the top of the gantry to allow the 2 rods and the all thread an easy escape.
Now i have an easy access to all the parts and even the stepper........

Im kinda glad now that i didnt follow the build instructions to the letter. Because it made me think about some of the other things i saw as potential problems down the road, Now all the steppers have easy accesse and i for-see no problems ever getting to any of the parts that may need replacement down the road.............. I hope you don't have any problems with opening the holes on the end, you might notice some problems with backlash, the end plate trapped the all thread to reduce backlash, you will prob need to go with a rigid coupler as the hose will stretch and compress alot.
