I have the wing sweep mechanism built and now I have to put the push rods on it.
Will download the photos of it as soon as I can get my camera working.

I put a Hobbico High speed micro servo C5-12 to test with.
The plans call for a Hitec HS-81MG servo.
I have a HS-81 that I can use ,but I have to rip it out of my Mig-29 to use it.
If the C5 will work I will leave it in there.

    Normal set up is.
    Himax 2015-4100 brushless motor.(Inrunner)
    4.4 Gearing
    APC 9x7.5 Prop
    Speed of about 50-55MPH

    High speed- set up
    Himax - 2025-5300 brushless motor.(Inrunner)
    2100 mAh 11.1 v Lipo
    APC 7x6 Prop
    25 amp ESC
    Will pull about 20 amps.
    About 70mph
These are the setups that Steve Shumate posted for his.
I do not have an inrunner motor,so I hope the 400 size outrunner will work.
It is a park jet motor.

This plane is a little heavy due to the plywood parts for the wing sweep.
There is another plane that uses all foam for an F-14 wing sweep.
Most of my planes are pusher style. My Mig 29 plane is a pusher plane but the motor is mounted on the elevator. You can design planes with the motor in the mid position as well on most
park jets. Both of them are called thrust vectoring. There is even some of these design
that are adapted for EDF use.I am not sure if you have seen My Planes section.
Mark can find them for you.I started doing SKP files for most people on our forum.
A lot of them are not finished ,but I figured I would do them so people would have a good start.

Your builds are awesome, rescue91j1! :good: I'll be honest, I can't bring myself to the point where I'll make my planes like this detailed. All I think of is that I'm going to fly it and crash it and gone is all the work I put into it. Heck, on your Sbach I'm already into the third incarnation and yesterday I ripped the motor off.

I admire your tenacity! :banger: :banger:

    Thank you Tiger Pilot.
The F-14 is a PDF I downloaded from Park Jets.
It is a Steve Shumate Model.I am not going to detail it the way the video build is.
I guess you all want to know how and why I have the time to do all of these SKP .
Plans and models.Because my medical condition,I am on disability.
So I have a lot of time to do it.(When I am not taking all kinds of meds.that make me sick.)
    That's a story in it's self.
