Flying Wing Plans for electric

    videorov, there are so many plans here - But I think you're right, I can't find any flying wing plans. :(

    Here is the wing I designed a while back. It flew great.
    It's a pretty simple design. You just score the fold line with a screen roller, bend the wing halves over, glue the ailerons in, glue the winglets on, cut a hatch in the top for the battery, install electronics and go fly.
    There is no need for ribs. The foam will keep its shape from the bend of the foam.
    Motor can be mounted up front or in the back. I had mine in the front. The winglets will allow for vertical takeoffs as long as you have enough power.
    I didn't do the platcode on this one yet, so you'd have to do that if you want to cut it out on the pp. Attached files [​IMG] 3DMON'S Blue wing.skp (282.5 KB)Â

    I just manually cut and built a really simple and nice flying wing called the KESL designed by rdjay. I did draw the parts in CAD to generate a tiled PDF, but haven't created PhlatCode yet for it. I plan on making some more of these, so I'll eventually have the code.
