    I discovered this last night.

I can see that pulling this apart will be a NIGHTMARE and I think some major surgery might be required to fix it.
If anyone has a suggestions on a fix it would be much appreciated..

    Thanks,

Squirt some glue in there and clamp it together. Maybe use medium or thick CA.

Did you forget to put your Z up before trying to lift the pressure rollers?

Do you think I should re-enforce the under side? Or just glue it back together?

Reinforcing it isn't gonna hurt, that's for sure.

Sorry this happened PEZ, nature of the material sometimes since its pressed in layers.
Like Shaun says I think that glue/clamping will work but if you find that you need a new piece just soot us a PM and we will hook you up.

Thanks Mark, but I don't think I will need a new piece, I will Glue it then Add some 2mm aluminium plate bolted to the underside just for extra strength..

If it is for strength, the 2mm alu should be on top. :D

    Sounds good PEZ :good:
As Yoram mentioned some people have been adding an aluminium plate bolted to the top pf the gantry, because if you forget to raise the Z gantry up after a cut and lift the pressure rollers without having the gantry lifted out of the way. You run the chance of pushing the mdf apart on the top where the acme thread comes though.
