Ok, here's my PF build. I tried to remember to take pictures often during this, but it goes together so quickly that it's hard to stop to take the picture.

Ok, after taking a nights rest to get ready, I got up early and started putting it all together.

Ok, after I let the glue dry on the repair I had to make (I was all my fault really) I continued on with the build.

After helping someone go and get some breakfast I started back on the build.

Well, the postman didn't have a replacement part for me today, so I'll have to wait untill monday to complete the build  I guess I can use the time to make some table space for the PF while I wait

Nice build log! Thanks Gefahren and thank your little helper for us too :D
We are sorry you did not get the frame in time. We did our best to over night all the parts so that you guys would have them for the build this weekend, sorry if they did not make it in time :(
Its really coming along great and it wont be long now before you are pulling parts :)
    BTW nice looking shop!
    Thank you
    Mark and Trish

    Thanks for the compliments.
That shop was my project last summer/fall. I get a kick out of that commercial on TV where the guy vows to "not add a wing on to my house this year". It's way more work than I wanted to do at the time, but once you start it's too late to stop

Ok, after some delay I've got my PF up and running too. :D

(I Just had to try and egg after watching Marks attempt!)

BTW, how do you tell what "number" your PF is? I've noticed people saying #5 or #16 but I've not a clue where it's listed on the box... Attached files [IMG]

    Gefahren,
It is in the letter that was in the envelope.

    :D
I still need to try one standing on end! :D
Nice job Gefahren I think your right about the nose cone, maybe you could use half the egg for the nose cone plug and then put it together for the canopy?

Well, the envelope for mine had a really nice thankyou note, a parts list and a brochure, but no numbers. (BTW, I might want to get some of those brochures to give to club members, or the owner of the local Hobbytown might let me put some on the counter, I'll check)
So I guess I'll call mine NEMO (Like the capitan, not the fish!) since Nemo is the Latin word for nobody or no-one. Of course now I'm gonna have to paint it Orange, White, and Black (Like the fish, not the capitan!).

I had looked at using those eggs for aircraft parts before, but they are very brittle, break easily, and are difficult to cut most of the time. Now I can use them as a form and get some really good parts that are easy to work with!

    Gefahren,

You are Phlatformer #2. We had you in the que right after blindflight before even taking pre-orders.

Nice pulls by the way. Love the egg idea. Why didn't we think of that?

Well, I can't think of anything pleasant associated with #2 so I'll just refuse to name it and still call it NEMO :D

Now I just have to figure out the orange, white, and black color scheme.... Hmm, Maybe someone wants to take a stab at a suggestion for that?

From the guy who thinks all machines should be named as they are people too, I think Nemo is an awesome name!

Great job and I love your helper.
