I made a butterfly display piece for my wife, and now she wants a few more, in smaller sizes. Problem is, I can only find the .cnc file for the large one - no trace of whatever I used to create it.
How can I import the .cnc file back into SketchUp, so I can scale it and re-do the tabs, to get identical, smaller ones?
btw, here's a photo of what I'm talking about:

Gcode to dxf is a couple of posts down, I originally posted this and thought I'd leave it too.
Here is a program that can convert dxf to gcode. I have not used the program yet so I don't know anything about it.

OOPS  . I posted the wrong one.
Here is the program to convert gcode to dxf.
This one I just tried and it works great. It puts the dxf where the gcode file that your conrting is at.
Oh and its free. Attached files gcode2dxf.zip (25.5 KB)Â

Well Shaun, that one doesn't seem to be able to go from Gcode to dxf, but I found another one at http://www.topshareware.com/GReverser-T ... -63229.htm that looks promising. I'll post my results when I get a chance.

OH, I didn't see your other post - I just downloaded it, too. Thanks! :D

Hey Shaun, that second post, with gcode2dxf.zip, worked perfectly! The part came through sized to about 18 feet across, but with a little scaling, it worked perfectly. Thanks!
