I got a very small end mill bit dia size .055 inch.
The sketchucam doesn't let me input .055 instead it automatically changed back to 3/64" ??
I use all inches. Not mm

You most likely have your model units set to fractional rather than decimal. Go to Window/Model info and there you'll see at the bottom 'Units'. Click on it and than choose, in the 'format' drop down list, 'Decimal'.

Sketchup has a bug that prevents you properly using fractional inches less than 1/16". (yes, even in Sketchup 2017)
You must set it to Decimal Inches as Tigerpilot explained above in order to use smaller measurements.
You might also want to increase the 'precision' to display 4 digits after the decimal otherwise you will lose some digits after some editing operations.

    You want settings like this....

Note that you can still input fractional inches in the parameters dialog edit boxes. They will be converted to the proper decimal numbers for you. BUT, if you have precision as 0.000 then 3/16" will display and be used as 0.188" instead of 0.1875".

I had these draw on mastercam frame size of ( X= 11" and Y= 6" inches). When I imported to sketchup and changed mode units to decimal of .0000" like y'all recommended. Now I can change bit size thanks.
BUT another problem showing is (Z,X,Y) turn out to be (Z) 0.1248", (X) 132.0000" and (Y) 72.0000" ( Why the numbers so high? should it be 11" and 6"?) HELP!!!!!
when i change to 11", 6" it make the safe size material to cut in smaller than the cad draw i did on mastercam?

    I'm CNC lathe current work
    Thank you

When you import a DXF file you have to specify the units since the DXF file itself does not contain a unit specifier.
It looks like your DXF contained millimeters but you imported as inches.

Sketchup's internal units are decimal inches, so it defaults to that.

Of course, you can just re-scale it in Sketchup. There is a scale tool, just select the whole drawing, then select a corner tab, the enter the correct scale factor (which you calculate from a known dimension in the drawing as scale=wantedSize/currentSize).

Would scale make my whole entire draw different size?
