In sketchup I keep having to change the settings I like. I go to Model info and have to change Precision each time. I like it at 1/16th but it keeps reverting back to 1/64. Any ideas on that?

Good question. I was wondering the same myself. I always forget to check into this when I have time, but I think it may have something to do with creating a template and then choosing that as the default. I need to remember to look into that....

I noticed the templates would bring in another set of default length units also. Just wish we could tweak that a bit to our liking. I'll nose around a bit like you rcav8r and see what I can come up with

Setup a page with all the particulars you like then save it as a template via 'File/save as template' When needed just open upon a new page start.

I have about six saved. One for the pp and the others for different bits, materials depths, and max limits for the small mill.

I was having the same problem with the Phlatscript because i use a 1/16 bit and I would forget to change it from 1/8. so I went into the script rb and changed it to 1/16" default.

    Cheers
