Here's the Hydro-Foam model/Code made up from plans found on RC groups
The plans had a lot of inconsistencies so I did my best to make it right feell free to change it if you like.
This one is made up from all 6mm/1/4" foam. The original one I read is made up from 3mm. So this has been scaled up a bit.
If some one wants to tackle the 3mm one that would be great.
I have built this one once but not from this redesigned file. So let me know if it works for you.
    Thanks Mark
    Have fun with her.

Thanks Mark, I never have had/built a hydro. This is on my short list to build.

On your plan, Mark, where would you put the motor? You made the nose pointy.

I would put It on a some kind of Stick Mount on top. I would Use a medium to high KV motor w/small prop.

    Cheers

Well on the 3d model the canopy is different than the actual canopy that gets cut out, and the one that gets cut out is a little more squared.
Your welcome to convert the other canopy as well and try them both out I just didn't have time.

E-T is right on the motor mount, or you could make a hole so that it sticks through the foam and under the main canopy top.

I had gotten this one from "RED" when it first came out. Fly's pretty good , I have a friend who built a 5 ft long version. Unreal!!! I'd like to see a mini one also for indoors...Thanks

    blindflight,

Seems to be a lot of controversy surrounding this one, but it seems to have died down.
The plans were free so I thought I would give it a go.

A 5' version unreal! is right. A small kid could sit on there and drive it around the lake holding the transmitter :)
Got any links or videos to that one?
    Thanks
    Mark

p.s. AL sorry for the lack of a response Its been early nights with nyquil induced sleeps.
I will get with you soon

Ive got it built except for the canopy. I can't figure out which pieces get attached and which pieces remain removable. Something has to be a hatch for the battery right?
