Getting ready to re tape up my 2 pressure rollers. I bought the kind of tape Mark and Trish send out with the kits. Just wondering if the spiral application or the original single wrap around are about equal as far as keeping the drifting down?

If you apply the tape edge-to-edge (butt-joints), the thickness will remain the same over the entire length of the roller and there will be no added drift or "threading" effect. It just looks weird to see the tape spiral around the roller, but the foam (or whatever) will feed straight as ever.

btw, I've been a tool designer and manufacturing engineer during my 30-year day job, and what I just wrote is not theory, but the facts based on actual experience.

Thanks Dorsal ;) . I guess it is an optical illusion to see those lines moving to the side  Guess I'll go for the wrap style.
