I figured you all would appreciate this. The following picture is of my 19 month old son, Eli, as he was walking out to join me at the flight line. Eli loves airplanes, and as you can see has his own radio, which rarely leaves his side. I try not to push airplanes on him, and I am so happy he loves them as much as I do. I pray that his interest will continue, so I can share this with him the rest of his life. I feel like it will create a bond between us that will allow him to share anything with me, and allow me to stay involved in his life as he continues to grow...

I wanted to share this with my Phlat Family, cause I knew you all would understand!

He's really cute Tim. This sight would make any Dad proud, at least any Dad here :). Love it. We just spent time with our 20 month old niece. What a great age. I think it's safe to say that airplanes and little boys go hand and hand. It's a great hobby. Thanks for sharing the pic.

My son is now 40 years old. So, It is precious time when we get to spend it flying together now and then when he is in town. His son is now learning about the hobby thru us. I gave him a little foamy the other day that he could hand toss and he loved playing with it. We never grow old. In our own eyes we are still little boys, playing with our toys, albeit more expensive toys than when we were at that age.
