Loading Error when sketchup starts

    When first opening sketchup the error reads (cannot convert Class into StringError Loading File phlatboyztools.rb
    cannot convert Class into String)

    Sketchup runs ok after I clear the error screen, some of the phlatscript tools are working but I can't generate any code. Please help Attached files [​IMG]

    What os you are running and what sketchup version? If it's some weird mac problem, I got no ideas.

    i have it running now, my plugin folder needed cleaned out. must have been a bad ruby script conflicting with phlatscript, sketchup 7 free and and windows 7

    Hello. Newbie using Sketchup 8 via Wine in Ubuntu 10.04LTS.

    I get this error upon startup:

    Error Loading File phlatboyztools.rb
    uninitialized constant SketchupExtension

    Can anybody help, please?

    your sketchup is too old, make sure you have the latest 8.
    I am using Sketchup 8.0.16846 on Ubuntu 10.04

    You know, I ended up installing the same version in Xp via VMware player. Now it works. I do not know what the deal was with wine, ver 2013 would not even install! but, 8 is working for me via vmware. woohoo!
