I'm having issues with using the center line tool with multi-pass cutting. For example, it wants to go into a mode of making very short cuts especially on a curved line made using the arc function. I've attached the .skp and .cnc file of a sample where I want to make a 60% oval shaped groove. When you look at the .cnc file in Mach3, you can see the curve is having problems. Is there something I'm not doing correctly with the center line and multi-pass? I've tried this with SketchUp 7 and 8. And I'm using the latest SketchUcam version. Thanks for any help on this.

It has something to do with the direction the curve is going. It is a bug but can be overcome.
I used a tool called probes to show you how the 2 curves are going different directions.
To fix it I used a plugin called recurve. You erase the ceterline tool lines and right click on the curve you want reversed hover over revert curve and select reverse curve. Attached files [IMG] recurve.rb (10.3 KB)Â tt_probes.rb (12.4 KB)Â

3DMON, thanks for the info!! I'll try that out tonight. I'm making a dust boot out of 1/2" plywood for my OpenRail machine and hope this will let me make my brush groove. :D
