As per Mark's request I did up the MKII version. Note I did not change anything, it is still drawn for 2mm and 6mm foam

    Attached files MXS MKII.zip (8.3 MB)Â

Jeff, I have a question did you use cutePDF to convert this, like 3DMON has been using?
    No problems just wondering :)
    Thanks again

I used a program called PDF 2 DXF 2. its a trial program but it has never expired for me.
Then I use autocad to clean up the stray lines then import into Sketchup.

Nice, thanks for the tip with cleaning the lines in Auto Cad. I never thought of doing it that way.
I am working up an exploded model of this plane to make it a little easier for others to build. I think its a great looking plane and all the elements are there including the graphics and build log so this should be a nice build.
I am thinking that we could use a 1/16" bit for the entire process including the wood parts. I will have all the speeds and feed for the Phlat code already set up and ready to print :)
Its will take me a little while as I am doing it in the early mornings before the day starts (only time I can find right now) :D
Here's what I have so far this morning

The only problem I see is with the wood parts, the holes are so small that a 1/16th bit may be too big for the control horns, I sent an e-mail to a guy that sells 1/32 bits but have yet to hear back from him

Ok, the guy at Ebay store named drill-bits is sending me some 1/32" router bits new for $2.90 each.
They aren't listed on his website so if you are interested in them e-mail him thru Ebay.
Hopefully they will handle the small wood parts that this kit requires.
I am not sure how long it will take to get them but I will keep you informed.

Tiger, no I did not do any writeup on it, those were the PDF instructions that came with the PDF files, They are very nicely laid out that's for sure. :)

CFF here is what I have, sorry I did not post it sooner. :)
Its not complete (as far as the cut lines) but they can be added easy enough.
    Have fun! :good:
