Hey guys my CNC pc just took a poo.... I need to download Mach3 again and my question is what version works with the older phlatscript files? I remember I needed a certain version when the phlatprinter mkI came out...

    AnyairRC that stinks for sure!
Hope you had a back up going?
The version I am using is R2.60 Its stable and works fro what I need.
As for needing a certain version, they all should work fine
You can go to www.machsupport.com and download the latest stable release
or you could use the R2.60 version
You can download that version here

    Good luck with reboot
I know it does seem lame but on the bright side you will have a new clean slate to work with :)
I sometimes wish my computer would crash just so I would be forced to start over and have a nice fast clean system again, but alas I have a Dell :D

Hey anyair. been there done that earlier this summer. Is'nt any fun trying to get those special settings back. I went and got a 1 terra byte external harddrive with automatic updating and have had good peace of mind since then. Like Mark say's that version 2.60 works great and is very stable. Just drop your license file given you in the mach folder and your up and running again. ;)

Ok got it guys thanks, how about that mach3 setup video??? I have been searching for a bit now...

I wish my MacBookPro would run Mach3 and the phlatscript, then I wouldn't have three different computers with data scattered around....

    Anyair,
I believe from when you bought your machine we have since started to include DVD setup disk instead of the motion box video downloads.
We will have to send you a set for the MKI
Please PM me the address you want me to send them to.
In the mean time this thread may help you to get back up and running
The setting here are for the MKII so you will have to adjust your motor tunings accordingly but other than that you should be fine.
