    I'm putting up my Phlatprinter for sale so that I can upgrade to the MKIII. Selling as a complete unit including a computer but without Mach (must buy license or use EMC) and no monitor.

    The machine PhlatPrinter MKI with upgraded modification…

    * Cabinet was put together so it can easily be taken apart for maintenance, upgrades, etc. Put together with blind nuts and 6/32 machine screws in key areas.
    *3/8 four start ACME feed screw on the Y and Z axis.
    * 260 Oz Stepper motor on Y axis
    * 160 Oz Stepper motor on Z axis
    * Original stepper on X axis
    * Speeds up to 275 IPM (I usually cut around 100 - 150 IPM though)
    * Adjustable Fences added to allow cutting of wood.
    * HDPE plastic surface to allow better cutting of wood due to virtually no friction sliding across the surface
    * Spring system added to both top rollers to better grab the material to allow more accurate Z axis cuts, and higher Z axis speeds particularly when cutting wood.
    * Cable retention system added to lid to take weight off hinges
    *Home/limit switches on Y and Z )
    * Z axis relay switch to turn off cutting tool when cutting is done
    * ½” Precision case harden guide rails for gantry (Y and Z axis)
    * Custom aluminum blocks on Y axis to allow perfect alignment of guide rods
    *Bronze bushings on Z gantry – ( Link below has good description)
    *Cooling Fan on controller board
    * Light in lid connected to relay board to turn on when program is started (can be turned on/off through Mach)
    *
    Overview...
    * The machine was designed to cut a full sheet of fan fold foam (FFF) (24"x48")
    * Cut width is limited to 22"
    * length of materiel/cut is only limited to the size material you can obtain and how much room you have.
    * mods allow balsa ,light ply, or thin lexan to be cut easily
    *
    Included:
    * All mechanics in cabinet as described above.
    *3 stepper motors. Y and Z are upgraded steppers. X is stock.
    * Variable speed dremel with 1/8” cutting bit
    * Controller board
    * Computer

    Not included:
    * Software to drive the machine. ( $175 or Free. Free version runs on Linux EMC.) (http://linuxcnc.org/)
    * Monitor

    Some post on the forum detailing some of the modifications:

    Pickup preferred. I will meet you 1/2 way within a 75 mile radius. I live in the center of Michigan. If shipped, buyer to assume all shipping/crating costs.

    Asking $600 complete or $550 without computer

    Nicely Modded MK1 :D That rig should be a solid performer for a long time, and at a good price too. I'm still cranking out the work on my modded MK1 and it still keeps up with my needs. Gotta love those fences and smooth top. Makes balsa ribs a breeze.

    oops, that was an old posted ad :oops:

    Sorry for the late reply I haven't been on the forums much lately. This phlatprinter is no longer for sale. This model works great for what I need and have decided not to sell it.
