Phlatscript working in KCAM

    Has anyone got the phlatscript sketchup plugin .cnc file to load into KCAM? KCAM just crashes when i try to load it. I'm using it on my homemade 3 axis cnc machine.

    You may try to rename the extension of the file from .cnc to maybe .nc? This may allow it to load in Kcam

    hmmm I was looking at the KCAM site to see what it supports in g codes and everything looks good. The Phlatscript uses standard gcode so it should be ok, but maybe it does not like the notes at the start of the file. You could always post a file that does work for you in Kcam as well as one that makes it crash (from the Phlatscript) and we can see if we can see what it does not like about it.

    hey it works! i open the .cnc with notepad, and erase the notes in brackets and the beginning of gcode. it loads perfectly now thank you! :good:
