I was feeling inspired this weekend building the WF33 so I decided to give another of my favourites a go.

The P40 has always been my favorite WW2 plane and with the upcomming indoor season I decided to make a P40 that can be flown in the gym. After cutting the plane I realised that it probably won't hurt with a bigger rudder, but I cut that manually. You can see the difference on the rudder between the first and second picture.

The P40 has 90cm wingspan. My projected AUW is about 150gram, but I use alot of hot glue so that figure can most certainly be improved

Motor is a Turnigy 3020 1800kv that gives 250gram thrust with a GWS 7x3.5 prop and 2S lipo Attached files [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] P40 indoor model.skp (2.2 MB)Â

    Thanks Mark!
You know, it's all due to the ease of designing when I have a Phlatprinter to cut the stuff. Trial and error is not as intimidating as back when I had to cut the parts myself ;)
