I can't see the video at work, What axis is it? Could be a belt skipping. Or incorrect voltage to the steppers.

That's not a bad stepper. You are missing steps. Slow the x axis down and/or make sure the vref setting is right.

Gees it's been so long since I've done mine. Check the manual that came with your board. It will tell you the voltage to set it for your steppers. There will be a test point for each axis. Simply test voltage at the test point while adjusting the pot.

Yep you need a multi meter to check the voltage across the vref setting. The easycnc board manual explains it.

    I had this problem.

it sounds like you need to go back and recalibrate you X-Axis.
Make sure your dip switches for the X-Axis micro stepping are set correctly.

If you've changed the dip switch settings for micro stepping,
you need to recalibrate your machine.

If you are using the USB-CNC software check the number in steps/units for the X-Axis.
The number may be to high. The number I use for X is 437.740. Yours should be similar.

    Hope this helps.

    hello again ...
I am pleased to report that the problem is solved ....

Took out the pressure rollers step motor .... inserted a new set screw in the belt tooth hub ... re installed .... checked Vref at all step motor .... and put all
dip switch back to original position (as shown installation 1/2step Z-axis, Y-axis 1/8th step, the X-axis 1/4 step, and the old setting file for CNC USB)

It may look like I need a new belt and tooth hub for the X axis ... but it still works ...

Thanks again for all your feedback :good:
