Sketchucam with a laser engraver

    The idea of exporting G-code right from Sketchup is super exciting. I have Sketchup Make 2016 installed on my Windows 7 machine. I installed the Sketchucam extension and I was wondering what settings would I enter for a laser engraver?

    laser control is coming in the new release, 1.4a
    I am working on the help updates and need to make some videos for the new features and then it will be out.
    However, if you have time to do some testing you can be a beta tester (-:

    Sure, be happy to help! :) Although I must confess that my laser engraver is a home-built one with GRBL 0.9j on it. The laser works great but it does not have any PWM/analog modulation to vary its power and hence I may not be able to test features that allow engraving a photograph etc. Currently the laser turns ON and OFF only (through the spindle control in GRBL) so its good for engraving line drawings. I built it primarily to make SMT stencils for my projects.
