Does anyone know if the above problem is being addressed in the next version of the phlatscript?

I'm using the latest revision of the phlatscipt (0.923) and even though I'm not using the multipass function, I'm having the same tab issues as Randy describes above with single passes in plain blucore foam. Depending on how wavy a particular stack of foam is, the overcut percentage needs adjusting to accommodate the waves. If I make the overcut deeper to compensate for the waves, then the tabs seem to "follow" the overcut number and are cut deeper as well. This sometimes results in very shallow or no tabs at all depending on what part of the "wave" the tab ends up on. It's even worse then v-tabs are used. And we all know what happens to the print process when there are not enough tabs! :evil:

It seems that the Tab Depth Factor is being applied against the Overcut Percentage (calculating the tab depth from the top-down) resulting in thinner than expected tabs.

What should be happening is that the Tab Depth Factor should be applied against the Material Thickness (calculating the tab depth from the bottom-up) resulting in more consistent tab thickness. (also resulting in what the Parameters screen tells you - the tab depth is the "% of material to cut")

With straight material, this would result in the expected tab depth (% of material to cut). With wavy material, this would result in more consistent tab depths. Some tabs will be thicker than others, but at least all the tabs are there and will not mess up the printing process with loose material.

I know the easy work-around is to use tabs with smaller tab depths, but I think the problem still needs addressing.
